The crocodile is a legendary figure in Colombia,
particularly in the north of the country. It
appears in every sort of guise and symbolises
Don Giovanni, fertility, the self-important macho
who imposes respect both on land and in the
water. Men on the coast willingly identify
themselves with the animal. There are legends
songs and dances where men dress up as
crocodiles.
In this project all men are represented as
crocodiles.
